Kyokushin karate World Cup tournament was held on 12th and 13th May in Szentes, Hungary. It was organized by Shihan Brezovai Sándor. Around 450 competitors from 15 countries participated this great tournament. Kyokushinkai club ‘Mas. Oyama Strmec’ from Croatia was also very glad to participate with 5 greatest fighters: Marija Frklic, Luka Cengic, Dion Burian, Tomislav Novoselec and Jelena Vrancic. We are very proud to say that we came home with 3 trophies. Marija Frklic won the first place with no problems in the category ‘Youngsters girls -45kg’, Luka Cengic won the third place in category ‘Youngsters boys -45kg’, and Jelena Vrancic won the third place in the category ‘Juniors girls -65kg’. Leader and coach of the group Shihan Zvonko Samarzija was very proud of achievement of his fighters. This tournament was a great experience to everyone and we’re hoping to participate on much more of them.
