In his first fight he defeats the Frenchman Jerome Le Banner after three rounds and makes a knock down in the second round.

His second fight he defeats the four time champion Ernesto Hoost also after three rounds.

And in the final he beats three time champion Peter Aerts also after three rounds whit also a knock down in the second round.

His trainer Hansi Dave Jonkers 8th dan IBK did a great job whit sensei Sem and Sem his sparrigspartner Jelle , because this second championship was one of the toughest in history.
