Below are the results of the IBK-Hayastan Challenge 2009 - North German Championships.
All fights were completed in a cage and fighters came from Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, England, France, Poland, Spain and Germany.
The event was HUGE success yet still we will be working to optimize the processes and the "show".
The level of the fighters has grown a lot the latest years and Grappling has definitely come to stay! We had immense support from some very good team.
There were HUGE trophies for the winners (and 2nd + 3rd places) as well as for best technical fighter and best Fighter.
Team Trophy was won by XESS Fights Hamburg.

The Grappling fights used the Hayastan Rules and there were many leg locks and some VERY nice throwing!
The IBK supported the event heavily with Shihans and fighters from Poland, Belgium and Germany. A huge win for the IBK and the Hayastan.
All finals were fought in an evening program accompanied by some MMA Fights. Results also on the Hayastan-Challenge homepage mentioned below.
