Last December Kancho Henk Kuipers reunited again with Sosai Mas Oyama’s daughter Kuristina Oyama for a small visit in Tokyo.
Kancho was accompanied by Shihan Koen  Scharrenberg  as a personal friend and sensei Martin van Emmen (kancho’s secretary) together with Libbe Kuipers (kancho’s brother) and Edward Kitzen.
Kancho showed the Honbu’s dojo and all the history there is hanging on the walls in the whole building, and the whole group went for a walk through the neighbourhood walking the circuit the Uchi Dechi had to run every morning back in the times that Sosai was still alive and running the honbu and it’s Uchi Dechi’s.
After this pleasant visit to the old honbu, they went to see the K-1 finals, and Kancho had a meeting with Mr.Daisuke from K-1 organisation, maybe opening up opportunities for IBK people for the future.
