On the day 12 of November 2006 in Udine (Italy) 2 fighters from the dojo of Sensei Andrea Stoppa fought in an  all round karate contest on the ring.

Sensei Andrea is promoting all round fighting under Kyokushin Budokai with great success in Italy.

The event was held during the International Kick-boxing tournament Italy vs.Slovenia.

The public was surprised to see 2 fighters with karategis and obi on the ring, and followed in real silence the match, but at the end it exploded in an ovation for the 2 competitors.

Michele Del Fiol won over Michael Beck de Lotto, gaining 2 waza-ari with his strong low kick, but Michael, who at the beginning of the match was in advantage, substained an injury while throwing his opponent on the ground.

Michael took the decision to continue to fight despite the pain, showing great courage and a strong budoka attitude.

The 2 fighters were awarded by Sensei Andrea with the brown belt.
