IBK HAYASTAN CHALLENGE GERMAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Shihan Tom (Taiyo) Madsen is proud to announce the IBK-Hayastan Challenge; German Championships are to be held March 20th, 2010 in Hamburg.

I have been informed by GOKOR that he will join the IBK. Hayastan Grappling Challenge as a guest.

The Tournament will be held March 20th, 2010 in Hamburg and is a German Open as Supported by Shihan Ralf Fahrun, Dai-Shihan IBK for Germany.

The IBK-Hayastan Challenge is a unique tournament since it is supported by both Gokor’s Hayastan and the IBK. Further it is the only tournament were all fights are to be performed in a cage.

In the latest tournament we held, October 03, 2009, there were participants from Spain, France, Belgium, UK, Brazil, Denmark Poland, Germany and other countries. – AND Shihans nd Senseis from all over Europe.

Again “best Team”, “best fighter” and “best technical fighter” will be appointed – this time by Gokor and the highest Ranking IBK representatives present.

The fighters who place 1-3 will be “given” first round of the European Championship October 2010. Also to be held in Hamburg. This is why it is important for fighters to join the Open German Championships as well.

Please note the main focus of this tournament is Grappling.  The MMA and the Shootfighting fights are part of the Finals programme but do not include a title. The MMA and Shootfighting fights will be using the rules of the “Shooters” which were used successfully at the HGC October 03, 2009. The Grappling fights will use the Hayastan rules as described on www.hayastan-challenge.com.

We are planning 3 Pro-fights – but need help on these since we are financially limited. If you can help with Fighters, Support or Sponsors please contact me straight away.

Eventually Gokor might bring fighters from US as well!!

The tournament will host show fights of Kyokushin Karate again and some other entertaining parts as well.
